In addition to overseeing the firm's strategic planning and implementation, he manages the company's market, revenue and profitability growth, identifies immediate and long-term opportunity areas, and defines the organization's operating structure and policies.

Joe has more than 27 years of experience as an HVAC industry leader. During that time, his success has been based on several key characteristics, including a client-friendly manner, and an ability to discern and manage client expectations. A focused problem solver with the flexibility required to deal with the unexpected, he also knows how to effectively anticipate – and meet – client needs.

 

Joe began his career as a commercial service supervisor with York Corporation. He then moved to Carrier, where he held increasingly responsible positions as service supervisor/business administrator, branch service manager and Mid-Atlantic area general manager. In the latter position, he was responsible for seven branch offices, where he oversaw all sales, marketing, operations, financial and human resource activities. During that time, he delivered double-digit returns on sales and increased revenues from $20 million to $29 million. He joined Combustioneer in July 2005 as vice president of service and sales, and became president the following December.

 

Holder of a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. John's University (NY), Joe is a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America and has served on the service bureau since 2000. He has also participated in the Heats On/Waters Off Program.
